Great Pumpkin Carve draws huge crowds in Chadds Ford
CHADDS FORD—The Great Pumpkin Carve — a Chadds Ford tradition – attracted huge crowds in its first two day, organizers said. Saturday, Oct. 22 is the final day for the carve, located on the grounds of the Chadds Ford Historical Society, 1736 Creek Road, Chadds Ford.
There are more than 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists. Food, local craft beer and wine are available for purchase.
The event takes place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 22. Ticket prices are $15 for adults 18 and over, and $5 for children ages 7 to 17 and free to anyone under the age of 6, and for Chadds Ford Historical Society Members. Credit cards and cash are accepted. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event. There are no pre-purchase tickets. All proceeds benefit the Chadds Ford Historical Society.
Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted on the Chadds Ford Historical Society grounds.
