Urban Street Fair is next up for downtown Mount Clemens on Saturday
Now that the festival season is in full summer swing, it's time for a little something different in downtown Mount Clemens.
Next up for the Clem, it's the Urban Street Fair, featuring a vibrant vendor market, interactive activities, art demonstrations, live music, massage and yoga in a one-day event, Saturday, June 10.
Oh, did we mention food trucks in addition to the downtown's collection of bars, diners, and restaurants to stop for a quick drink or bite to eat?
"This year's show will be showcasing art, crafts, vendors, food trucks, and more," said Michelle Weiss of the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority.
Weiss said a wide variety of vendors, products and services will be represented, including:
Also, several special events such designed to calm your inner shopper are scheduled such as Yoga at the Clocktower at 11 a.m., Crystal Bowl Meditation at 6:30 p.m., massage, readings, and free plants throughout the day.
Live entertainment will be provided by Slotrods at 12:30 p.m., Emily Rose at 3:45 p.m., and Goats of Bohemia 5:15 p.m. The groups are sponsored by the Urban Street Fair and the MountClemens DDA.
The Urban Street Fair will be set up on New Street between North Walnut and Cherry streets. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
